Adelaide wedding photographer Luke Simon finally adds a new post of recent adelaide weddings...... I'm so far behind in my blog posts for recent weddings and I apologise to all of you that have been checking in to see what's been happening. It's a very busy time of year for us here at Luke Simon Photography. October saw us shooting weddings all over the state, from McLaren Vale on a beautiful private residence to Chateau Tanunda in the Barossa and everywhere in between. Alicia and Ryan celebrated their wedding in the North Terrace precinct of Adelaide with the ceremony taking place in a hall by the library and the reception followed soon after in the Mortlock Library, a section of the State Library. It was a great day with every detail thought of by Alicia, who also runs a business called Akimbo that specialises in greetings and invitations and all things hello. So, as you can imagine the details of the day were lovely with everything thought of. Well anyway, here are a few of the images from their day....

Another lovely wedding. The sun didn’t make it’s presence felt as much as we might have liked but it didn’t stop us having a good time and grabbing plenty of lovely images. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the always wonderful Glen Ewin Estate in Houghton in the Adelaide Hills. Hope you like :-j Cheers, Luke.

I received a great email yesterday from a wedding client who married 12 months ago - thought I'd share it with you, along with a couple of shots from their day. It's great to look back at their day and then look forward to the lovely future ahead of them. ______ "hey dude, thank you for the anniversary card. we got it last week, it was so thoughtful. You got in there early and beat everyone to the punch. I cant believe it has been a year!! so.... me and Bonnie are expecting a little girl in late December!! (my moneys on christmas day) its seems like it was only the other day we were carefree and relaxing on an indo island and now its ''oh how cute is that little dress, what colour should we paint the nursery and how the hell is a baby seat gonna fit in the kombi..? i drive past the old wool shed where we had the photos taken every day lately, and its now a storage world and looks nothing like that day :(. we have the photos all over the place and will never forget the effort and passion you put into every photo. Bonnie still tells people how you said to dab the bottom of the flowers with a tea towel so they dont drip or how to place the pin in the button holes, i guess its the litttle things you brought to the table aswell. we could never thank you enough. we constantly check your website for updates and we recomend you to our friends. Bonnie has photos up on facebook and is still getting messages from friends, and friends of friends who want to know who did our photos! always good to hear from you cheers bro. Steve and Bonnie + bump. _________ .....Ahhh, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Hey All, Just a quick post here. Alicia and Ryan are getting married this Saturday so I will be posting images from their lovely wedding here soon. But the other week we caught up to go over timing and all the details that will help make the day run along nicely and it was decided we'd meet at the Adelaide Royal Show and grab a few fun snaps while we were at it, so here they are. More on Alicia and Ryan soon !

This is so cool. Nothing directly related to photography really, but just as we seem as a civilisation to use technology to tear each other apart quite a bit, there are so many wonderful things about it that help to bring the world together. My dad sent me this link and it's so lovely. One of my all-time favorite movies and one of the greatest soundtracks of all time relived by all walks of life. Cheers, Luke...
