One thing I really love about traveling in a foreign country is meeting new people. On the way from  Rome to Tuoro Sul Tresimeno I found myself in a carriage with with a  family of locals. Nonna was looking after her two grandchildren who I later learnt to be Jacopo and Mariachiara. It had only been a bit over 24 hours since I had seen Henry and George but I was craving some kid time.

Sunday saw us all converge on the playing field between the olive groves and the manicured gardens to battle it out in some good old fashioned games, to decide who was the superior country basically. No prizes for guessing which team it was. Some of my favourite moments.

Arrived close to my destination on Friday, meeting with Alecia and Alasdair in a lovely little fishing village on the shores of Lake Trasimeno called Passignano (Passignano sul Trasimeno). Winding little cobbled lanes, paths and staircases zig zag their was from the main street up the hillside to the castle tower.
