I've been planning to revisit Alecia and Alasdair's wedding photographs for days now and a g'day email from Alecia this evening got me thinking about some of the ridiculously amazingly beautiful places I visited. On the Friday of the week long wedding festivities, a whole bunch of us headed up to the hillside town of Cortona, about 30 minutes drive from the Villa, and just across the border into Tuscany.

This time of year we find ourselves revisiting a bunch of the great weddings photographed during the summer season just past, for a couple of reasons. One - I am seriously behind with my blog posts and would like in the next 6 weeks to post a little about each of the great weddings yet to be featured, and two - because we are in the design phase of quite a few beautiful Queensberry Albums that we design and build for our clients.

One thing I really love about traveling in a foreign country is meeting new people. On the way from  Rome to Tuoro Sul Tresimeno I found myself in a carriage with with a  family of locals. Nonna was looking after her two grandchildren who I later learnt to be Jacopo and Mariachiara. It had only been a bit over 24 hours since I had seen Henry and George but I was craving some kid time.
