I never anticipated that one day I'd be asked to fly across the globe to photograph a wedding. Humbled and honoured, I (of course) jumped at the opportunity. In July I flew to Rome and happily made my way to the border of Umbria and Tuscany to photograph and celebrate the week-long wedding of Alecia and Alasdair. The venue, Villa Baroncino, is jaw-droppingly spectacular, with views across a valley overlooking Lake Tresimeno. Set amongst 100+ year old olive trees and hillsides dotted with typically picturesque homesteads, I was unsure where to point my camera for the first few days. I could dribble on for hours but I won't. Two more things I do want to say....thanks again Alecia and Alasdair, for trusting me with the privilege of capturing your day and secondly, Villa Baroncino have asked me back next year! So if you are interested in me photographing your wedding or a portrait session that will be happening in Europe during the European summer, then I'd love to hear from you.

Another fine day and on this occasion, The Lane Vineyard, just outside Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, played host to the wedding of Megan and Christian. Living at Ayers Rock currently, Megan grew up in Strathalbyn. I am always very interested in where people’s lives take them and how couples come to meet. Megan works in PR at Ayers Rock Resort and it was while here that she met her policeman, now husband, Christian.
