The Pulpshed situated in a small valley surrounded by bushland and historic stone buildings, offers a rustic warmth and cosy ambiance while still possessing the ability to seat up to 300 guests. The majestic lawned area, backing onto a lake, with a perfectly positioned weeping willow tree creates a magical location for a wedding ceremony. The old homestead and stone retaining wall manage to contain the space giving a real sense of privacy from the outside world. Another fantastic asset of the Pulpshed is that in turbulent weather they have the ability to quickly transform the windowed section into a cosy light-filled space which produces a very intimate and personal ceremony experience. When this happens, people often comment to us afterwards on how special their ceremony felt.
The recently constructed Gatehouse offers a bright, fresh and contemporary design while still encapsulating a natural feel with earthy textures and impressive floor to ceiling windows revealing the breathtaking landscape beyond. The space has a wonderful indoor / outdoor sense to it, connecting seamlessly with its surrounds through cafe style doors which open out onto a spacious deck overlooking the lake and the bushland beyond. The ceremony location near the Gatehouse is also surrounded by bushland and backs onto a picturesque lake offering two differing entrance points for the bridal party.
