I’m a pizza nut myself so when I hopped out of my car on the wedding day to the aromas of wood over pizza’s on the bake I was half sold already. Then to walk around to the rear lawn to find all the guests enjoying a wine and spot of bocce’ with the sun streaming through the fringing gumtrees I was sold.
The setting is awesome. The service was bang on. The wines and pizza was bloody great and the views and sunset from the deck where the reception all went down was the icing on the cake.
The whole McLaren Vale Region is a wedding venue winner in my eyes as well, for two other very good reasons – there’s plenty of accommodation options for guests nearby and it’s only 30 minutes from Adelaide.
If you’re after a relaxed McLaren Vale Winery vibe and your looking for somewhere that will suit between 60 & 100 guests sit down, then I suggest taking a look at Beach Road Wines for sure.
