These venue write-ups aren’t a review as such, more just a few of my feelings and thoughts based on my experience over the past 15 years or so. These venues are not paying or asking to be on my website, or necessarily referring my services (although I think some do by choice) – I’ve included the venues I have because I have witnessed them providing exceptional wedding day experiences to my couples.
They’re also venues I love to photograph at, their food is something special and they’re run by people I admire and enjoy working alongside. Golding Wines – Lobethal SA
Golding Wines Vineyard is situated in a secluded valley, surrounded by rolling vine-covered hills just outside the Adelaide Hills town of Lobethal. As you wind your way up the driveway, you will pass majestic 100-year-old gums, before arriving at the stone barn located in their award-winning landscaped garden.
In summer, you will find brilliant red roses blooming at the end of the vine rows, and a garden setting offering a lush oasis of green. In autumn, the vineyard and garden transform into a brilliant spectrum of red, orange and gold. And there’s some great vistas to be had if you’re up for a little hill climb or two.
