These wedding venue ‘love listers’ aren’t a review, but they do include a few of my feelings and thoughts based on my experience over the past 15 years as a wedding photographer. These venues are not paying or asking to be on my website, or necessarily referring my services (although I think some do by choice) – I’ve included these venues because I have seen them consistently provide exceptional wedding day experiences to my couples.

Howard Vineyard – Or should I say Laura’s Vineyard?
One of the first questions I ask a couple who enquire about booking me as their wedding photographer is “which venue have you booked?” When the response is Howard Vineyard my reply is always “How good is that place and how awesome is Laura!”
Howard Vineyard is no doubt a beautiful wedding venue, Adelaide Hills vibe, 30 minutes from the CBD..ticks a tonne of boxes – their wines, the food is always delicious, the ceremony location options are many, the location options for photography are many and varied too.
But what really takes a wedding venue to the next level in my eyes are the staff and your point of contact when you’re trying to plan and arrange your wedding. Let’s face it, most of you haven’t ever had to seek out a wedding venue before.
A wedding co-ordinator who is patient, kind, experienced at that venue and who also takes immense care of you and your guests, is worth their weight in gold. Laura, and her team are the goods.
So, if Howard Vineyard is on your shortlist you’ve done well.
