Adelaide Hills Wedding Tag

The Golding Winery Wedding goodness that was Maddie and Matt's big day. The sun was out in fine form, little fluffy clouds did their thing and we all had a collective hoot ! Their parents met many years earlier, through mutual friends and that's how Maddie and Matt met eventually in Sydney, while Matt was on an internship at Fox Studio. The connection between these two and their families was seriously unreal. You'll see as you meander through the images below how much fun the parents were having together and how much love...

Dancing, Wine, Laughter, Adelaide, Sunshine, Coffee, Family, Friends, Hugs, Tears, Night Skies, homemade Polish Vodka. All these things and many more helped to shape the day that became Ellie and Adam's Wedding day. I first really met Ellie and Adam when Adam was a groomsman in his mate Ross's wedding. I'm sure I'd met them previously at one or two other weddings I've photographed for mates of theirs, but we spent a little more time together at Alice and Ross's wedding and our love grew from there :p It's humbling to be...

Alice and Ross' wedding was always going to be one filled with a LOT of smiling faces. They are very infectious people, not in a disease way, just in a happiness way. It rained a bit but did they care ? Nope. Did the sun shine...

A while ago now I photographed the engagement session of Emma and Ante in the Adelaide Hills, not far from Mount Lofty House. We had a good laugh and it was pretty obvious just how comfy Emma and Ante were as a couple. Super relaxed in front of the camera just being themselves, I had a great time snapping away. I find these shoots set us up well for the actual wedding day too, making us a little more familiar with each other.

We recently had the pleasure of capturing Jess and Phil's wedding in the Hills. The picturesque, meandering driveway, tall oak trees standing like sentinels, and beautifully groomed hedge-rows were just a taste of what lay ahead for us. It is always really humbling to be made to feel so welcome into someones family home. I can't recall ever not feeling welcome, but there was something else in the way in which we were greeted on this particular occasion. At the front door, Jess's mum used those exact words..'welcome
