Hannah and Oli | Mount Osmond Golf Course Wedding

What I really loved about Hannah and Oli’s wedding was that they decided to get married in June. It’s not often that people choose this time of year in Adelaide, however they embraced it wholeheartedly fully aware that there was a good chance of bad weather… a sentiment clearly reflected in their order of service booklets. This Essay of images hopefully gives a nice picture of the kind of people Hannah and Oli are, open, honest and very sincere. Hannah chose to wear her Mother’s wedding dress and as an outsider, sharing the moment when Hannah put on her dress in front of her mum was very special. I can’t image how her Mum felt seeing her daughter in the very same dress she was married in years earlier. Following their ceremony at St Laurence’s Church in North Adelaide, we headed to The Racecourse knowing we could find shelter in the Grandstand if the Heavens opened up. But instead of rain they opened up, as if on cue, with a few minutes of sunshine which burst through the clouds offering up the most beautiful golden light proving that June can be a very special time to get married here in Adeliade… It just seemed to cap off the feeling of the day and the warmth that we all seemed to feel in Hannah and Oli’s presence.

The Classic moment of the night back at their reception at Mount Osmond Golf Course was when Oli got up on stage with the band and busted out his trombone to the cheers of the crowd on the dancefloor with Hannah front and centre cheering the loudest…
