Pip | Associate | Luke Simon Photographers
Pip | Associate | Luke Simon Photographers
Pip has been with me for almost 2 years now. After graduating as top student in her class Pip was snapped up by one of Adelaide’s top commercial studios where she worked for over 3 years, shooting everything from jewellery to wine bottles and corporate portraits while also taking on the role as studio manager. She brings a wealth of great experience to the team and having photographed dozens of weddings at my side over the past 18 months she has developed a great eye for detail and the candid grabs that present throughout the day. You’ll quite possibly hear Pip answer my phone or send you an email on my behalf as she works with me in the office also.

As well as the many weddings Dave has photographed with me over the past few years Dave has also married his beautiful Emily not too long ago, so understands and appreciates the important things that need documenting on your wedding day.
With an eye for the openness of a moment Dave has a real ability to capture the otherwise unseen. I always love getting back from a wedding with Dave to see what he’s captured, usually finding a good many I’d wish I’d taken. It was when this started happening all too frequently that I realised that his talents were definitely not being offered widely enough. And so the natural progression ! Dave is now booked to shoot numerous weddings this season for Luke Simon Photography and it’s great to have him as a part of the team.
Lindsey & Ben | K1 Winery Wedding
Lindsey and Ben married at the very neat K1 Winery, an Adelaide Hills venue I’d never had the pleasure of visiting previously. Although we didn’t have a bunch of time to spend at the winery we made the most of what we did have. From there we headed to Ben’s folks property where the reception was all set to go…..what an amazing place for a wedding. I really could not believe my eyes. The marquee was spectacular and backdrop for this wedding was a photographers dream. Every detail was considered. The wine and food divine, the cheeses and desserts rather yummy and aside from a few drops of rain just before the ceremony the weather held off for us. Read More…
Wedding Photograph of the Year Competition – Atkins
Hey All,
Just a quick note – Atkins Technicolour is the best professional printing lab in Australia (yes I am biased and can’t base this claim on anything but my bias and the great service they give) but anyway, they are also running a little wedding competition at the moment – Wedding Photograph of the Year. We can’t say which is our entry obviously as that’d kinda take a bunch of credibility out of winning it should we be so fortunate, but there are a heap of great images entered, worth looking over. Amanda and Aaron | Carrick Hill and Kooyonga Golf Club
Adelaide Wedding Photography -
Some more great history documented at Amanda and Aaron’s wedding. The reception was held at the lovely Carrick Hill Wedding venue and the reception was a Kooyonga Golf Club which provided a great backdrop for the wedding reception.
