I’ve been fortunate enough to have Tanya working with me (and putting up with me) for over 4 years now, shooting as a second photographer at more than 50 weddings I’d imagine by now. She’s got more energy than a 5 year old, more enthusiasm for life than a bee for pollen and a real passion for her photography.
A mother to 3 (twin girls and a boy) and she is also a fully qualified and part-time working Physiotherapist I really don’t know how she has made time to help me out for these past 4 years as well as shoot family and child portraiture for her own business.
Tanya brings a wealth of wisdom to the team as well as her own approach to her subjects, while always taking into consideration the Luke Simon Photography philosophy – plan well, intervene when necessary, blend in otherwise and document the day in an unobtrusive, friendly and happy, helpful way.

Emily and Matt – Glen Osmond Monastery and Carrick Hill Wedding
Classic couple + Classic venue + beautiful everything = Many happy people and an awesome wedding. I had a great time working with Emily and Matt. They both looked amazing I thought and were very laid back, any more laid back and they’d have fallen over I think. Perfect. And the sun shone brightly all day for this Carrick Hill wedding so we couldn’t have asked for more really !
Adelaide Family Photography – Bonnie, Steve & Luna
In September 2009 I photographed Bonnie and Steve’s wedding.It was a great day and knowing the way it feels to be in a couples shoes makes shooting weddings all the more awesome to me. There is nothing quite like the feeling…except having kids….and aside from having your own there isn’t much cooler thing to witness than the love parents have for their children.

Nestled amongst the oak tress in Crafers (or Crayfog as it is affectionately known due to its dominant weather patterns) in the Adelaide Hills, is the beautiful little Church of the Epiphany. Stephanie and Antony celebrated their marriage here and then the reception and party continued further afield at the very picturesque Bird In Hand Winery just outside the little hills town of Woodside.
