Dave & Alice | Grange Hotel
It is always a great privilege photographing a mates wedding, especially when that mate happens to be a great photographer who’s work you greatly admire. Dave is an amazing landscape and commercial photographer based here in Adelaide. Kinda scary shooting a photographer friends wedding and the weather certainly placed more than a couple of hurdles in my way and got me sweating, but as is so often the case, the nasty weather was a blessing. Pause…..Balance…..Jose Villa
Balance is really tricky. I’ve been looking over the work of some other photographers I admire immensely while sitting here tonight waiting for my computer to churn through some images.
One of these photographers is a bloody genius and his work inspires me to continually improve and re-address why I do what I do and how I approach what I do. Jose Villa is the fella and he posted these images recently. If you’ve not heard of him or seen his work I highly recommend spending an hour looking over his work. He leaves me breathless which sounds cheesy but he truly is a remarkable photographer. Enjoy. As much as I’d love to have such talent here in Adelaide I’m kinda glad he’s not an Adelaide wedding photographer or I’d be out of a job !!
